Returns & Exchanges

Our Policy

We want you and your pet to be happy with your Pettit purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

  • Returned with original packaging

  • Returned with all tags attached (if applicable)

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

What Can Be Returned

  • Full-price items: eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit

  • Sale items: eligible for exchange or store credit only

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Gift cards

  • Final sale items (clearly marked at checkout or product page)

  • Any items marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase

  • Custom or made-to-order items

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Exchanges

We offer one free exchange per order within the United States, subject to availability.

If you need a different size or color, we’ll be happy to help whenever possible.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.

  • Processing time: 5–10 business days after approval

  • Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to complete the transaction

Store Credit

You may choose to receive your refund as store credit for faster processing.

Store credit can be used on any future purchase at Pettit.

We will respond within 2–3 business days with next steps.

Important Notes

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery

  • Items sent back without prior authorization may not be accepted

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
